Suzuki gears up for the #JimnyGathering

In 2022, Suzuki South Africa announced that it would host a Jimny gathering on the weekend surrounding Heritage Day (September 22nd to 24th, 2023).

Suzuki has recently confirmed that they will also hold an additional Suzuki Safari Town Festival alongside the #JimnyGathering on September 23rd.

While the #JimnyGathering event aims to bring together as many Jimnys as possible in the picturesque town of Clarens in the Free State, the Suzuki Safari Town Festival will be open to everyone. Even non-Suzuki owners are invited to attend the festival, and tickets will be available for prices ranging from R60 to R250.

The festival on September 23rd promises to offer music talent, food, and overall entertainment for everyone. There will be entertainment for all ages. Clearly, Suzuki follows the same philosophy as with their wide range of vehicles – to offer something for everyone.

The festival will also host many well-known names such as Femi Koya and Black Heidi, the comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout (himself a Jimny owner), as well as several musical performances by Mango Groove, Spoegwolf, and Goodluck. Rugby enthusiasts will also be delighted to hear that the SA/Ireland game will be broadcast live at 9:00 PM.

We strongly advise you to purchase tickets as soon as possible at https://www.jimnygathering.co.za or https://www.safaritown.co.za, considering that the #JimnyGathering is already buzzing across all social media platforms. With an estimated 20,000 Jimnys in Southern Africa, Clarens will definitely be the place to be on Heritage Day.

See you there!
