Tested: 2017 Hyundai Creta 1.6 Executive Automatic Diesel

The awesome example

Recently I was involved in a discussion – or possibly an intervention – where I was accused of being too critical of new cars. I’ll save you my whining retorts but promised all participants that I can indeed be positive about deserving automobiles. And wouldn’t you know it, the Hyundai Creta is a perfect example.

Sprint Review: Hyundai Tucson 1.7D MT Executive

A new car, lots of information in short paragraphs.

What you need to know: Hyundai’s popular compact SUV started as the Tucson, became the ix35 and then reverted back to Tucson for this third generation. With ever-improving design, quality, specifications and warranties, it’s no wonder that this range of Korean soft-roaders has become a roaring success.

Bekendstelling: Hyundai Tucson Turbodiesels

Tested: Mercedes-Benz E220d

I’m partial to Mercedes-Benz E-Classes, I have to admit that upfront. In fact, I’m privileged to own a ’99-model E430. Consequently, I’m either about to give the latest E-Class a very biased review, or I’m very well positioned to give my opinion on Merc’s latest release. You may choose.

Padtoets: Toyota Hilux 2.8 Turbodiesel

The smaller size

Bigger is always better, right? Well, that probably depends on who you ask so let’s keep our minds out of the gutter and firmly pinned on automobiles. With global trends of dwindling resources and heavier traffic, rising taxes and fuel bills, it’s no wonder Audi decided to shove its Q7 flagship SUV into the gym.

Sprint Review: BMW 320d (Sport)

One new car, lots of information in random paragraphs.

Some facts: The BMW 3-Series has always been the sporting driver’s choice and I’ll get straight to it – it still is. While other car makers are trying to infuse youthful dynamism into their machines, BMW just keeps filing away little-by-little at this winning recipe. In fact, this new model looks like they haven’t filed at all…

Padtoets: Volkswagen Polo Bluemotion 1.0 TSI
