Most automobiles, even small and cheap ones, improve with every generation and cater for society’s increasing demands of comfort and safety features. I typed “most” because you do get a few which never got that memo – one of them is the Suzuki Jimny.
Like most people, I remember my first car well. And like most guys, I happily recall how it was fitted with more loudspeakers than is generally recommended. Renault must’ve identified this niche with their entry-level Sandero and teamed up with Sony to create a mobile disco in the shape of a car.
I love surprises… especially in unexpected packaging and totally out of the blue. Consequently, I was delighted to get the opportunity to review a Terios Diva – the latest Daihatsu SUV catering specifically to ladies.

Good news and bad news. The good news is that I’ve just tested an automotive icon which most of my peers describe in an animated fashion; the bad news is that I haven’t got the foggiest idea how to review it.
Every now and then you come across a car that’s not only good fun to drive but also proves an absolute hit with friends and acquaintances. I’ll try to explain this phenomenon as best I can, as it happened this week with the Daihatsu Terios.
