Sprint Review: Lexus NX300 F-Sport

A new car, lots of information in short paragraphs.

What you need to know: Lexus is the luxury division of Toyota and this NX, which apparently stands for “Nimble Crossover” is a mild relation of the accomplished Toyota RAV-4 compact SUV. Starting out as the NX200t around 2014 (or 2015 in southern Africa), Lexus has now changed its name to NX300. No idea why.

High mileage Hino!

Hino South Africa

“Two Bar” is the fitting nickname for Namlog’s Hino 500-Series 1324 freight carrier that has covered more than 2.3-million kilometres since it was purchased new in 2009. It certainly carries its age well and does not look like a truck that has covered a distance equal to going around the earth almost 60 times!

Driving the “Predator”-faced softy

“Aggressive” is the first word that jumps to my mind as I meet the striking new, Lipstick-red, Lexus Is200t. With striking curves and the enormous ‘spindle’ front grille, the 200t is definitely not a car to miss when passing by. The wake-up call

Competition is healthy. There’s nothing like feeling the warm breath of rival products on the back of your neck to drive excellence and innovation of products. Although our market is pretty much sorted for luxury compact SUV’s, Lexus just decided to give all other makers a wake-up call with their new NX range.
