Die Citroëns van die ou dae het ‘n reputasie gehad van ‘n bietjie anders wees maar die laaste paar jaar was hulle maar nog net deel van die hoofstroom Europese motors. Nou het Citroën met die nuwe C4 Cactus weer ‘n model wat jy op ‘n afstand kan uitken tussen die ander. Party mense sal dink hy is pragtig, terwyl ander weer glad nie van sy voorkoms sal hou nie. In Suid-Afrika vervang die Cactus die C4 reeks.
Do you still remember the pop-up headlight Honda Ballade? What about the square one before that? These dependable and practical cars were uniquely named for South Africa and were actually called Honda Civic everywhere else – of which the ninth generation was just launched.
Please excuse my nonsensical ramblings this week; I’ve just had two of my wisdom teeth extracted. Despite being twice as stupid as before, I finally decided to compose a comparative test between two cars I drove back-to-back: the new Honda Ballade and Renault Fluence.
