More expensive is always the better, right?
To answer in short: No. Ask me what I would purchase with the odd R650,000 and I will without a doubt choose the Volkswagen Golf GTi or even Golf R. These two models are sublime and the ideal small family package for those more inclined to have a heavy right foot.

The quiet exits
So you’re on your way to buy a new Chevy Sonic or finally order that big Honda Accord. Bad news – you’ll only find those on crunchy gravel forecourts laced with colourful bunting and misspelled slogans. For your entertainment (or misery) we’ve made a small list of cars that are no more.

The sensible all-rounder
Some things in life can be classless. That doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re overly bland or common (wif a capital K) because the beauty of something classless means that it’s a great all-rounder; it fits in everywhere. Like a white collar shirt, a grey handbag or the new VW Passat.
