One of the first official press cars I ever received was a jet black Renault Koleos. Back then I was in awe of this new ride and our market wasn’t bulging with SUV’s yet. Let’s see what this second generation is like, shall we?

Sedert 2017 was ons baie gelukkig (of dalk ongelukkig) om die Renault Kwid reeks deeglik te toets. Die geleentheid is aan ons gebied om beide die AMT “outomaties” (hoe dit ookal geklasifiseer mag word) en handrat weergawes te kon toets en soos vele ander menings, was ons nie oorweldigend positief nie.

Launched in October 2018, the 2WD Renault Duster saw a completely new version of the first iconic Duster generation (2012). We already had the chance to test this and quite liked the small SUV. Now, Renault has just launched the new 4WD version, capable of taking on the roads less traveled.

The strange union
Renault is a strange old brand. It started just a few months shy of the year 1900 and has always danced to its own tune. They’re reasonably big on motorsport but never bothered much with luxury cars. At some point they aced all EuroNCAP crash tests but still focused on affordable transport for the masses; like this Sandero Stepway.
New Renault Duster to be even better
Similar to the Renault Sandero Stepway, the Renault Duster has been one of the flagship models for the French brand during the last seven years. The public grew well fond of the small and quirky 4×4 and now Renault has improved on the previous model with a new successor.

Ons lewe tans in ‘n wêreld met daaglikse tegnologiese innovasies. ‘n Aspek wat veral bydra tot die motor industrie.
