Compact French hatchbacks are supposed to be so chic and elegant that even a Parisian fashion mogul would bomb around the French capital in one. Well… good news!
Clio
Hatchback Choice: 2, 208 or Clio?
The small hatchback segment is becoming increasingly popular once again. This, as people are increasingly only moving around within towns and large cities, as well as needing a light city car with regards to soaring fuel prices. Luckily, we recently tested the Peugeot 208, Renault Clio and the Mazda 2.
Sprint Review: 2017 Renault Clio RS200 Lux
A new car, lots of information in short paragraphs.
What you need to know: Renault’s fourth-generation Clio arrived with new technology, great prices and fantastic looks – its fame was short-lived though because it hit a few wobblies with quality and servicing. RS stands for “RenaultSport” and is the hot-hatch model for battling Polo and 208 GTi’s.
List: South African Cars of the Year

I couldn’t wait to drive it.
Launched: Nissan Almera [2013]
The circling respect
Perception. It’s a funny old thing that, teaching us that opinions and tastes will always differ. I was on the brink of writing what could’ve been the shortest review ever when I decided to shift my perception of the car in question and give you more than just one opinion of the new Nissan Almera.
Tested: Renault Clio 4 Expression Turbo
The fresh omission
As of this morning, my computer informs me that I have tested 298 cars, not including multiples at launches. The list is made up of 34 manufacturers and includes everything from a full electric to twin-turbo V12’s. Until this morning, for reasons unknown, this list did not include a Renault Clio.
