Today I bring you more inside news. The Volvo V40 and its many models is the car I’ve reviewed most in 2013. Happily, the V40 is one of my favourite cars right now and I’ll gladly review every single one. The topic of this review is the top-of-the-line, muscular T5 R-Design.
It never rains but pours. No sooner had I reviewed a Chinese car and another one pitched up for a spot of evaluation. This week was the turn of Chery’s J3 TXE, a medium-sized hatchback from that land with the world’s biggest and oldest security estate wall.
Despite fluctuating sales the motoring industry has never offered more diversity and consumers are absolutely spoilt rotten for choice when it comes to selecting their next set of wheels. We at NamWheels have compiled a wee list of cars which we believe to be hidden gems.

I think I may be getting old. A recent birthday has firmly plunged me into middle age and I’ve decided that I dislike camping, queues, hip hop, clubbing and down-down competitions. With a growing affection for classical music, scenic walks and reading, help couldn’t arrive soon enough.

You get few that do it all and even fewer that do it well so I’m always happy to review a car with limited applications.

Last week I had multiple cases of déjà-vu with a highly anticipated test car, the Jaguar XF-R. The first two flashbacks came courtesy of the 3.0 and 2.2 turbo-diesel XF’s I had the absolute pleasure of driving and the R-version of this car had a few more surprises up its sleeve.
Inspired by one of my favourite songs, Sting’s “Stolen Car” (Take me dancing), here follows a declaration of love to something that’s completely out of my league: the Jaguar XJ 3.0 TDV6 Portfolio. And just like Mr. Sting, I imagined the conduct of its rightful owner as I enjoyed my brief time with the big Jag.
