Geskiedenis: 50 jaar Bokser enjin!

The ridiculous treat

It’s early afternoon sometime in the late eighties and a young teenage version of the author is sitting on a Windhoek sidewalk near his school waiting for a parental pick-up. The lonely swing

If you’re in the market for a luxury petrol sedan, you’ve probably made up your mind already. A grey Audi A4 TFSi with S-Line trim and fancy lights. Or that white C-Class which has stunning AMG wheels. And what about the silver BMW? Well, what if I told you about another contender from Subaru?

The small truth

Sometimes my friends and acquaintances can be cruel. Downright rude, even. If I had a Rand for every time I heard “Meh, is that your car for this week?” or “When are you testing a Ferrari?” I’d have, oh, about N$28 now. What most of them refuse to believe is that I enjoy testing small budget cars – like this Kia Picanto.
